Since my last
email was the one quoted, I’m assuming you were responding to =

simply making a joke to the previous email. Dave said “How =
many can tune
without an electronic device”, and I was sarcastically flipping =

question around to mean it’s opposite. Sorry for the =
confusion. I
listen to intervals constantly to make sure my machine is a tool, and =
not a tuner.
I’m a firm believer in tuners learning the fundamentals of tuning =
before

I would like to think that having an ETD "go down" would not =

use a machine, one of the last things I do before leaving the piano is =
to check
the seventeenths for smooth progression, any notes that have
"slipped" will stick out like a sore thumb. =
