I was speaking with a Mapes wire representative at the NAMM show today, and he told me about a relatively new product they have.<BR>
<BR>
It is called International Platinum wire, and I gathered that it is similar to International Gold except for an additional surface treatment to make it resistant to corrosion.<BR>
<BR>
It is not plated or coated, but treated chemically somehow.<BR>
