They're based in Kentucky, and generally use it as a hub, like FedEx: one truck is scheduled for pickup and transport to them, and another from Kentucky to your destination.   Mine took just two weeks Minnesota to Virginia; they say to allow a week to 10 days on each end.  I used local movers at both ends to get to and from dealers.  No packaging was required.  In fact, they prefer the fallboard to be unlocked so that it's not damaged at the lip by being compressed with a strap.  They'll get it on and off the truck at each end, usually with some assistance from the dealer (my thanks to Hamilton Music in Rochester, MN for their help, since I'm just a private individual doing the moving).
