sounds in A would necessitate a Bflat instrument, reading his =
music in C
to have to transpose to the key of B...hardly facile for that =
instrument. Or if
the pianist transposes instead, then that player would have to play =
in the
key of B. But then I would just as soon grab my A clarinet and read the =
Bflat
music as is. But a reason to tune a half step flat to accommodate the =
Bflat
