The "crescendos" are equally easy to install and the results are = truly amazing - particularly in conjunction with the new Wurzen back-touch = felt. Like the "Crescendos" it is white as are the balance rail punchings. To = remove the old touch felt I use a 3" "cold chisel" which I have sharpened on the = belt sander to a cutting edge. It eats through that 90 year old hot glue with = ease and can be used like a chisel to remove the residue and clean up. The = real plus side is that I found very little regulation was required after! Once the = capstans had been adjusted for correct striking distance ... that was = it! The whole thing fell into place. Oh yes.
