written, it almost
sounded as if you had done a complete conversion, rather than enslaving =
the
entire DG2 to yet another box such as the DSR-1. In other words, =
there is
no getting rid of that big box, but there are a number of toys in =
smaller boxes
that can be added to it. If I am not mistaken, Yamaha has a CD =
add-on that
will work on a wagon grand. (Anybody else have experience with =
this?

the
external box was necessary in the early grand Disklaviers was to house =
the power
supply, which was enormous compared to what is on later =
Disklaviers.
The problem with a large power supply is that it puts out a lot of heat, =
which in turn is quite capable of cooking the piano. The =
nature of
the drive systems on those early Disklaviers made such power supplies
necessary.</FONT></DIV>

just did it on her G2 wagon grand. Your best bet for the how to's =
and such
is Mark Wisner. All electronics are cost prohibitive. More bells =

whistles on the newer models so that could be a consideration. =
