I am currently preparing to purchase and install my first board on a half
way decent little grand I got for free. I figure this is a golden opportunity
so if I can spare the money any time soon (very slow tuning schedule lately)
I'm gonna jump into a new endeavor. Before this struggling economy claims
another victim can anyone suggest a name of their favorite soundboard maker
and why they happen to be your favorite? I would greatly appreciate the
input. Thanks!

In a letter I recieved from North Hudson Wood craft today they stated that
itwas with regret they are closing down that division. No doubt Baldwins
problems forced them into this position even though I hear that Gibson
has purchased them and intend to start them up again.</font></font>

Rick wheeler at Roseland is now up and running his soundboard replacement
service. I am currently awaiting an order for a doz. boards from Rick.</font></font>
