Brent Fischer, (RPT) took a wire in the eye while restringing a piano at =

College. Had to have his complete eye rebuilt. Thank God he now can see
perfectly, but it was a long process, and not very much fun. =

FAMILY="SANSSERIF">Today while replacing a treble string, the cut =
end hit me
in the eye. I was wearing glasses but the end still managed to =
cut a 1"
gash in my lower eyelid. About a 16th higher would have dug into =
the
eyeball....but it didn't. I guess God protects his =
foolish.<BR><BR>As I
mentioned before I was wearing small reading glasses. =
<BR><BR>Next time
I fool around with piano wire I will wear full goggles over the
glasses.<BR><BR>I have been doing this work for over 15 years and have =
always
tried to be careful. So don't say it can't happen to you. =
Wear
