Hello,    I have been a piano technician since 1974.  I appre= nticed with the Fairchild Family of Piano Technicians of Massapequa Long Isl= and in 1973. Some of you may know of Steve Fairchild who was in the Guinness Book of rec= ords back in those years.  I was an active member of the Piano Technici= ans Guild through about 1992.  A reference would be Uve Zehme in Fort L= auderdale, FL.    We moved here from FL recently due to my disabled son ge= tting older and there being little services for him in that state.  We = experienced a very difficult and costly last 10 years.    Would anyone be able to help me out with some work. &nbs= p;I had a huge customer base of home tunings.  I present well and do my= job with integrity.  I also did piano rebuilding in my garage and woul= d either rebuild customers piano's or buy pianos used, rebuild and sell them= .    I do not have the option to start that up again, losing = our home and financial status.  My son presents with many unusual kinds= of problems and is best served in the home environment under my care as/per= Dr.'s home bound forms completed.  However, he does well and can come = with me and will sit quietly while I tune or regulate for a few hours at a t= ime.  This would not be appropriate to do with him in customeršs homes.=  Shops, warehouses, stores, schools, churches, would be possibilities = to try.  I can also bring actions home to work on.  The local Disa= bility Agency maybe providing funding for home respite care which would then= allow me to do home tunings. If this comes about, the customer could make out the check to you and you c= an pay me a lessor amount afterwards.    I am also a professional musician and teacher playing mu= sic from a very young age.  I can take referrals for piano students at = home having a private room in the apartment for instruction.  I can tea= ch the traditional methods of reading music and teach people to play by ear = utilizing music theory of patterns, progressions, voicing, arranging, etc., = at any age.    Please contact me if you can help me get on my feet agai= n.  You will find me very trustworthy and competent, and hear no compla= ints.  Thank you.
