those who
will disagree, but I remain adamant. Shimming or CA is the appropriate =
technique. Tapping tuning pins is an archaic technique that should =
have been
shelved when tapered tuning pins were no longer used, IMO. The most =
important
part of the tuning pin, in regards to tightness, is the top surface =
contact,
not the bottom. (Think about exposed pinblocks.....why do they tune so =
nice?
Because the t.p. doesn't flag pole so much and because it is tight at =
the top
of the t.p.</FONT></DIV>
