he kind of response I hoped for from my original query: how could the Philad=
elphia Symphony Orchestra endorse the Lester piano? From my experienc=
e, not having seen any of their grands, this was an absurdity.<BR>

Now I know that at least some Lesters built were bu=
ilt with some integrity on their part. I had surmised that the =
endorsement smacked of payola, but now I think, maybe not. More like =
Pianola. (Or Shinola?)<BR>
