can't stand the
look of all those plugs in an open faced block. Especially when doing =
the job
right is not all that difficult. Even the angled Chickerings aren't all =
that
bad, but the Knabe block is flat and relatively easy duplicate and =
replace.
We've done several and none of them presented all that much of a =
challange.
(Don't forget Terry has at least some experience with wooden boats -- =
ain't a
straight line in any of them.) And those open-face blocks sure look =
beautiful
when they are all finished. Not to mention how beautifully they
tune.</FONT></DIV>
