Given = the very high frequencies at the top of the scale, an agraffe seems quite a = floppy little thing. If it turns only slightly loose, it will absorb energy from the string.</DIV> <DIV>But they work well enough, so they are not really an important = aspect for me when choosing a piano. Especially since I have encountered some = really nice sounding old Bechsteins.
