Not only that, they= are easier, faster, and more accurate than a fixed system of beats, which a= ren't really the same from piano to piano anyway. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>By the way, in a tuned piano, F2-A4 ~is~ wide of a pure interval, but f= or the purposes of setting the A, it really doesn't matter whether it's set = wide or narrow, as long as it's beating about 4-6 times a second [although i= f F2-A4 is set narrow, A4 would slow down as you raised it, instead of speed= ing up like when F2-A4 is wide].
