Ed, Roger and List, Sorry I did not make it clear that the 22 year old D is a NY model. GC strings are made by Danny Vigneux (sp?): GC Piano Company 124-A Manville Rd. Scarborough, ONT Canada M1L 4J5 416-755-7109 This has been the only set I have tried from Danny but I am pleased with the results. I have been using Ari Isaac's bass strings and also get good results. I will post the results of my chapter's evaluation of the two pianos.
