This whole thread points up a need that was brought up at Reno by Bill Schull: useful guidance for the contract technician and for the smaller institution that hires him or her. Bill suggested creating a sort of appendix to the Guidelines document for the purpose. It might include sample contracts, some sort of practical advice as to how much and what kind of attention to give to pianos in various situations and the like. If any of you have ideas along these lines, please write them down and send them along.
