This is an essential <<truth>> in my book. If you know what you are
doing, and have good ear skills to boot, then any ETD can be used to
help you acheive a superior result.... even something like the Peterson
strobe tuner for that matter.

Some are more convenient to use then other, some will simply suit ones
particular tastes or perspectives better then others... but just so.
