Hi

For me the best concert piano is a recent NY S&S but with a complete
Hamburg action, heavy weight Hamburg hammer head and a Stanwood PTD.

This set-up gives the better of two worlds and makes glorious sound...

Hi Mary,
                  Well put.
Just an Observation some of the finest recordings of all time were,
and
is still, being done on the NY pianos.
Rubinstein, Howeritz, ect. No Hamburgs allowed.

Now I run and duck.
