Greetings, << a lot of false beats in the treble. I have reseated the strings, etc, but have not been able to eliminate the false beats. With the age and use on it, will the only solution be to restring it? >> I would replace one of the false strings and see if the string is the problem. I would suspect the bridge pins are the real culprit, though.
