Hello, Brad. Guy pointed out one part of your idea: a portable grand rack. Norm Cantrells' folding rack isn't suitable for loading into a vehicle with grand action still on it, but it could help one load a grand action onto a platform (with a way to secure it) which lived in the vehicle. I've thought of doing that, but haven't found the time. I get a grand action into my station wagon through the hatch back by either getting help from a customer, or using a small hand-truck. It's a little fussy, but I haven't hurt one yet. Perhaps you need two items to fulfill the whole thing -- the grand rack and the storage unit. Large pieces of luggage are built with wheels and handles on them these days. Perhaps you could buy a large suitcase with wheels, and structure the interior to provide organized tool and part space. Let us know if you get something to do what you want. Best, Susan
