You didn't mention how much after touch there is. Too much could be felt as this. The jack being too far back on the knuckle will increase the l/o period giving this feeling too. You could set the back of the jack at the center of the core instead of the back edge, optimally it could be set as far forwards as it can without 'cheating'. As mentioned in other posts, l/o and rep lever upstop (drop) if contacting simultaneously will give a crisp break. This places their spring tension/resistance at the same time. By making the drop lower you can stager their engagements thus applying their forces over a wider range of the keystroke. Dampers lifting really late will also add to this problem. Jon Page
