Yep, I spent at least 30 minutes tightening screws yesterday, and didn't get to all 636 of them.

It was a Yamaha CF9. If you ever need to turn screws, I recommend this model. The hammer flanges hold the hammers in alignment. even when the screws are loose, but the wippens were flopping all over. Servicebond pianos are new and in better shape.

It's a teacher's piano, she bought it used 5 years ago. I don't recall ever finding so many loose screws in a piano.
She can tell the difference. Me and my screwdriver are heros! Things like this really matter. Thanks to David for reminding us.

636 screws tigthened one every three seconds equals 1908 seconds or 31 minutes.
Just for interest. How long do you spend on screw tightening and regulation when doing one of those Yamaha Servicebond cards?
