Barbara,

Ohio State University has a 350 seat hall with one S&S D. And a 750 seat
hall with two S&S Ds in the hall and a Bosendorfer Imperial reproducing
piano in an adjacent room available but rarely used (twice in the last 8
years). A Baldwin SD10' and a Baldwin L are also available to the 750 seat
hall from rehearsal rooms but so far have never been used.
There is also a 2,700 seat auditorium with a S&S D and a Baldwin 7'
connected to one the school of music buildings but not run us. We use it
only for the Christmas concert.

  Subject: [CAUT] Performance facility inventory

  Hi all,

I'm doing a bit of research on behalf of the performance facility where I
work. Here are the questions:

How many pianos are available in your major concert/recital hall and what
sizes are they? (Example, 2 S&S Ds and 1 S&S B)

Do you have any comments on what you think the ideal inventory would be?

If you think folks are interested, reply on-list, otherwise, e-mail me
privately.

  Thanks,

  Barbara Richmond, RPT
