His foot would pump it lightly up and down between 1-3 times per second. Go figure... But what a tremendous artist! He alos had the most distorted (deformed) fingers I've ever seen.=20 =20 Jim =20 -----Original Message----- From: caut-bounces@ptg.org [mailto:caut-bounces@ptg.org] On Behalf Of Wimblees@aol.com Sent: Friday, March 18, 2005 1:40 PM To: caut@ptg.org Subject: Re: [CAUT] RE: excessive pedalling? =20 In a message dated 3/18/05 1:46:03 P.M. I am ignorant, however, when it comes to the use of the una corda. That is why I asked the question. I have just never seen someone use the pedal as much. But from what all of you have been telling me, except for Jeff, is that this is one aspect of concert prep that I have to get used to. I have a pretty good idea of what to do and I am more than willing to do it. I appreciate the comments and suggestions. =20 Wim=20 ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
