Hi Ed. My understanding from the Protek guys is that CLP (CLEANER, Lubricant, protectant) contains some kind of cleaner and prolube doesn't. My experience is that it does seem to "clean" better than the prolube. Also,(according to the makers) prolube is best used on metal whereas CLP is best used on cloth. Something to do with how it adheres to them. Of course, maybe this is just manufacturers BS, or voodoo.
