Hey Conrad,

For some faculty the only way they know if their piano has been tuned is
because the junk has been moved off it... so now between tunings I just
move things around and I effectively double my tunings. <G>

One must not ever forget the "placebo effect" either...

Last week, a piano prof had mentioned some repetition issues with the 
hamburger D. A couple days later I got a phone mail message thanking me
for 
the work I'd done on the instrument.

I hadn't gotten to it yet (still haven't, actually)...

Since he _thought_ (assumed?) I'd worked on it, it played better. ;-}
