Not at all, Wim.  You take a slice out of the lower half of the front of the
cheek, and then add a block of the same shape to the inside of the keyslip.
Of course, this will result in the keyslip fitting tight against the cheek.
If that¹s a problem, that¹s what 1/16² and 1/32² hobby birch plywood is for.
Best shim stock in the free world.
