Not really thick, but I haven't had repeat problems with it unless they just called someone else and I never knew. Unlike Teflon powder, this stuff stays put. A touch or VJ will do it too, as it does in the hanger hinges and grommets that don't get replaced with cloth. Pulling the rod and rubbing it down with your goo of choice usually smears off a bunch of draggy junk and leaves the rod cleaner and lubricated when you put it back in.
