[CAUT] Touch ups.. (and I ain't talking about makeup)

Unfortunately .....or maybe naturally,  it seems like the events where 
we do stick around rarely have problems that might have benefited from 
it. I possibly picked up something I should get over regarding those 
situations, because anymore I avoid going out once the show has started. 
That is because once, some time ago, our most senior now retired piano 
faculty actually accused me of attempting to "take the show" in some way 
by touching up during intermission.  That "really" offended me at the 
time.  Blow it off.......  of course, but hard to forget.
