[CAUT] arbor press

I use the brass rod you take out of a Steinway when you change the damper tray lift to a captive
dowel setup. I took a file and made a deep cut through the center for the swedging action, then I
put some personal decorative marks that identifies the leads I put in. Drill the new hole, drop the
lead in, hit it with a hammer and set it on the key frame. Go to next one. I reweighed a samick in 3
hours. My mentor Mr Erwin does it this way in two hours. Lead is soft, it doesn't take much to
swedge it. I drive the leads out with the same tool. You don't need an arbor press. With old leads
it shouldn't cost you any money to tool up and do this job.
