Contact the party doing the work for you and follow their instructions. They differ. Personally, I ask the tech to number all the keys, box them up with padding of some sort (newspaper, foam, peanuts, whatever). Then take the box unsealed to UPS. Buy two labels, one to put on the box to ship to the keytop person, and one placed inside to return the box upon completion, along with a check for the work done. Then seal and send. If you are using the postal service, find out what the shipping cost will be, and add it to the check you are enclosing. It seems to work and makes it simpler for both.
