Yes it does work for swelling loose bushings

I learned about Profelt at the Steinway seminar in Oberlin last summer.
Ken Sloan gave me the hint. A #7 bridge pin works well as a caul on the
damper guide rail.

Have fun!

[CAUT] Vs Profelt... again

Hi all-

I finally got to the archives for catching up with this previous
discussion, which left me a bit confused. My original understanding from
Pianotek is that this stuff is intended for use as a loosening agent
together with cauls for over tight centers or bushings. Does it also work
as well for swelling up loose bushings, or was that a misunderstanding? I
would like to try it on a set of loose damper guide rail bushings for an
S&S B if that is recommended.

many thanks,
