I ran into this one years ago, doing warranty on a new Daewoo grand.
It had me at my wits end. Trading out the rail traded out the sound as
well, but then it just reappeared on the piano it was put on. I ended up
wedging scrap hammer felt between the rest rail and the back rail of
the keyframe, which helped quite a bit.
