Please keep responding on this wip problem. I'll be in here tomorrow...I'm going home...very stressed out! Not for this project, but the fact that Keyboard Carriage won't unload the harpsichord in KY until it's paid for and the finance lady, the director, and his admin administrator aren't here until Tuesday!! They are the only ones with the credit card!!! So.... It just has to sit there......so close and yet so far! This was supposed to be taken care of 2 weeks ago!!! Arrrrgggggg! I did my part to plan everything! Next time...maybe it's worth just driving the thing there or anywhere...myself! I'm done! pw From: Paul T Williams <pwilliams4 at unlnotes.unl.edu> To: caut at ptg.org Date: 07/31/2009 04:15 PM Subject: Re: [CAUT] Friday Puzzler Nothing original except the action frame I think. If they're original wips, I'd be surprised! I'll ask Richard West. It's all too scary! They might be indeed original....which really scares me that Steinway actually let this thing out of the factory! Maybe too much something on a Friday afternoon at 4:20! Did they use a greenish color on the repetitions and jack tops for the lubricant? And why 6 lead weights in the bass continuing slowly down to the top with only the top two having no leads?? This action felt like a concert grand (in weight) putting it on my cart this morning! I couldn't believe how heavy it was! Susan Kline No, the travelling was also great. It's a back and forth issue with the line...ie. a straight line of the flanges on the rail are not even close from top to bottom!
