Hi List, We have at least one harpsichord too many. Currently, we have 4, 3 of which we use occasionally...one of them being a Benn which we use for concerts and recitals, one being a Tyre which the organ professor says he uses, and a smaller one that fits nicely into the orchestra pit when needed once per year... none of them are used very often. We also have a virginal and small clavichord that NEVER get used that I know of. Our director and I had a meeting yesterday talking about some repairs that need to be done to the performance harpsichords and he wonders why we have all these others if they're not being used. Unless our faculty insist on keeping all of them, I may sell 1 or 2 of these instruments. Is there any market for such things? I have no prior education on their worth or what new ones cost. Can anyone give some advise? Of course, if I sell them, we'll get 2 or 3 keyboard majors who need harpsichords ;>0 Thanks Paul -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
