I have valued your posts here over time. Those who share the same and similar human endeavors often develop a standardized vocabulary to discuss clearly their common interests. The development of a standard vocabulary must surely sometimes result in exactly what is happening here, that is, disagreements about what words are appropriate. I see no amplifier in piano soundboards; this is just the way I have been taught and have become accustomed to thinking. I see no reason to accuse those who see no amplifier in piano soundboards of difficult and confusing communication. Learn their vocabulary and then in the future you can communicate that you know their vocabulary but choose not to use it, showing yourself to be the educated person you are.
