I did one last year. Young Chang paid $200, plus provided the action brackets... In this case the piano was long out of warranty, so I felt it was pretty generous of them, and it needed other work; hammers filed, regulation above what replacing the brackets required. I billed the client for the portion beyond the $200. They were happy, and I was fairly compensated. Scott E. I have been reading all the posts regarding this problem. Will someone please tell me what the current compensation is from Young Chang? I think the price they quoted me is insulting. I printed the 2 page attachment that was on an earlier post, that was written by Phil Glenn. The compensation at that time was $250.00-300.00. John Chang, (no relation!) the person who I dealt with said $200.00 is their max. If anyone on the list has done one of these jobs lately, would you please verify what it is you were paid?
