I answer this question so often that I have the following in auto text: I would suggest having the piano professionally appraised by a Registered Piano Technician. You can find a listing of Registered Piano Technicians with individual listing of services they offer at <http://www.ptg.org/findATechnician.php> http://www.ptg.org/findATechnician.php there is also a zip code sort to locate one in your area. Your customer can spend an appraisal fee and get a report on the piano. It's a small cost for peace of mind.
