Fred, The only pinned agraffes I have encountered were on a 1977 M&H BB. The agraffe looks normal until you get up close. Then you see that there is a steel pin running sideways through the top of the agraffe so that the actual bearing surface is the steel pin, not the brass agraffe. At least I assumed it was steel though maybe a nickel-plated steel. I have a good picture at home. I was going to replace those agraffes, but I decided that they were better, even though 40 years old, than anything I could find new. I'll send a pic, if anyone is interested.
