We have several lockable covers here at MU, the type with the coated cables that run underneath. We got ours from Pianotek. As others have said the cables can be cut to length to suit your needs. Inventive students/faculty can defeat the system however. I once found an instrument uncovered and found that the cable clamps had been removed using a pliar or a small crescent wrench. Go figure.
