B.S. vastly trumps rationality by sheer volume. Such is reality as 
defined by... Check around. As I said, don't presume that there actually 
is a humidity control system in the HVAC installation until you see the 
sucker with your own three eyes and touch it with your own three hands. 
Even then, resist the temptation to believe it works until you can 
personally measure the RH% throughout the system for at least a month or 
two.
