Laurence, I concur with Anne. One of our former professors has a 1/16 tone microtonal (97 keys I think). Does anyone else make something like this commercially? The new Sauters at our local store are wonderful instruments. You have innovation, quality, historical significance, so yes, I would think they merit an entry, or at least an honorable mention of some kind. Sauter also makes a remarkable microtonal piano as well as very imaginative case designs. A walk through their website is very informative. Many of us have learned a great deal from Ulrich Sauter in his classes at conventions both here and abroad. He has contributed enormously to the field. Other criteria include quality, innovation, influence. I don't have space for every respected maker but wouldn't want to overlook anyone remarkable. Advice appreciated, and any other suggestions.
