digital piano labs

To listserv recipients,

We are currently in the process of soliciting manufacturers of various
digital keyboards to establish a 12-14 unit keyboard lab at SUNY Oswego.

I am interested in getting feedback from those of you out there who have
had experience with these labs.  We are looking into the following brands:
Yamaha Clavinova, Kurzweil, Roland, Baldwin, and Korg.

I am interested in any information you might have about service,
reliability, flexibility, manufacturer support, and any negatives and/or
positives you may have encountered.

I know that a lot of manufactureres will list the various colleges and
schools that have purchased from them.  There aren't any in my immediate
area that I can see.

As an aside, I was in a dealership this morning. On one of the pianos was
this quote. "The sourness of poor quality far outlasts the sweetness of
low price"
