Sorry about the late reply, but I'm catching up.

We went to locking covers.  It has the double advantage of securing the
piano _and_  keeping the cover on.  We use the heavy padded covers from
Instrument Covers in Salem, OR (800) 274-4543.  They have an option of a
cable lock that uses a padlock.  As it comes, it's not foolproof - you can
get it off if you're determined.  But I had our machine shop lead look at it
and he has some suggestions that I think would make it entirely secure.
