     I feel strongly that these fears are groundless.  I can't imagine a
     lot of net surfers spending money to call technicians out of their
     area. Local technicians can be found in the phone book - those are
     free calls. It doesn't seem likely that somebody would say "That
     technician didn't want to talk to me, so I think I'll call this one in
     Timbuktu instead."  The toll calls would stop it.

     I agree that every technician has to have the right to be left off the
     list. This is necessary.  It should be a line on the dues form, or
     something like that, to prevent having to do special mailings.

     A WWW page for PTG would be written to promote RPTs and their
     qualifications. A listing is needed to make it easy for piano owners
     to get in touch with an RPT in their area.  Adding a layer of
     difficulty, and burdening our home office staff with giving referrals,
     would defeat the purpose of using the Web.
