Key pin friction

I submit that they problem is essentially a coating of ozidation on the surface
of the pin.  _Flitz_ available from Pianotek is a metal polish of superior
quality.  Using this polish on the pins will eleminate the drag of bushing on
pin.  If you do not remove the corrosion first the drag will return much more
quickly.  Polishing AND lubrication pins and lubeing bushings will cause the
bushings to last three to four times longer.
