How do I like my Inca Band Saw,

    Let me count the way;

Swiss made quality

Aluminum truss case body

Aluminum anodized table and miter slide

Miter slides in dovetail channel

a 2/3 hp motor

Direct drive

Easily adjustable guides

Comes with a miter gage

    and a rip fence

Miter gage has 1/10 degree vernier adjustments

Available micro adjustable for rip fence

"Portable", weighs about 70 lbs and bolts

    to a low table

Behind the blade material stop

Vacuum connection

Feeds from opposite side from Delta

Overall a nice piece of equipment

Contrary to what someone else posted, a band saw will rarely make as

nice a cut as a table saw. Band saws are best a cutting unstraight lines,

like a pin block, miters, circles, curves and other general cuttings. Table

saws excel at cutting straight lines, cross cuts, rip cuts and accurate

repetitive cuts. Table saws are inherently less safe than band saws al-

though a band saw can cut off a finger in not time. All equipment must

be operated with care and awareness.

I am looking with great techno lust at the Ryobi 10" wood cutting

system. Does anyone have one of these table saws and what has been

your experience with it?

Sorry about the double spacing, I haven't quite figured it out yet.

All the best to each of you and may you have a blessed year.
