Key dip question

I just had a pianist ask this question:

Is there any way to adjust the key depth on a piano so the key response
happens more at the surface?

The piano is a 5 year old S&S B and is regulated nicely.

I know this is kind of vague, but it is an e-mail question from a pianist.  I
haven't been able to talk with him directly yet,  and that may help.  But in
the mean time, anyone got some thoughts?
