I'm looking for someone to field a question for the Journal's Q&A
section about a broken plate in a grand piano. Is there anyone
out there who has substantial experience with broken plates who
would be willing to take a shot at this?

Steve-
There is a guy up in Salt Lake that routinely repairs broken plates
with an extremely good track record. His name is Wilford Young,
801-393-9079. Actually he lives in Ogden.
