We have experimented with an agraffe make in Germany, Cloog or something like that. It is make with a very thin collar formed into the outer edge of the mating surface of the base. This thin bead will compress somewhat, enough to achieve correct alignment. If there is interest, I will get more details. Frank Emerson Baldwin
